There is no greatness without a passion to be great, whether it's the aspiration of an athlete or an artist, a scientist, a parent, or a businessperson.

Personal growth often looks a lot like failure to the untrained eye. I’ve been fortunate enough to see the deeper side of both failure and success through my own personal growth. It has taken many failures and successes for me to truly understand and appreciate the correlation between the two. Growth is always optional. You must consciously choose to become better than you were yesterday. This is what drives successful people and what differentiates the achievers from the non-achievers.

Many people meet with failure and assume they’ve taken a wrong turn. Yet, failure is the fast track to success as long as you keep going. The person who stumbles upon immediate success is unproven in life. The person who meets failures and must find a way to correct their course will be the one to build a stable and enduring empire in any realm of life. Any major accomplishment in life begins with a crystal clear Vision, a Why that will make you cry and the decision to kick fear to the curb. Never be afraid to fall completely apart because it’s a golden opportunity to rebuild yourself the way you were always meant to be. For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes.

To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction. What looks like a hot mess to the outside world, is in fact what builds leaders, masters and geniuses worldwide. Endure your failures, correct your course and never underestimate your awesome resilience in this brilliant life. Success is not a straight line; it looks more like an etch-a-sketch gone mad. Trust that your path, no matter how rough, will lead you to your greatness. Commit to your dreams and stay the course – you will surely succeed.

Tip #1:Focus on what you WANT to create.

Choose to feed your mind with positive, success-minded thoughts. By choosing to focus on what you WANT (vs. what you don’t want) to create, you will draw to you all of the circumstances, opportunities, people and experiences necessary to get you there.

Tip #2: Have fun!

It’s absolutely VITAL to enjoy your journey towards whatever it is you wish to be, do or have. Find a way – or better yet MANY ways – to have an absolute BLAST enjoying your way to success, abundance and greatness. By making the ride a fun one, and enjoying every moment, you will never feel like you’re working. That’s a magical feeling.
